Before we look into different types of amusement, first let’s define what entertainment is. Entertainment is any type of action that offers amusement for people in a passive manner, other interesting activities that involve engaging are considered recreation or hobbies.

There are various kinds of amusement for particular tastes, for example we have theatre, theater, sports, games, social dance, concert, comedy shows, animations, impressionists, clowns and the list continues on and on.
All these kind of amusement can than be divided into classes according to the age and interest of the people being amused. For example we have child, adult, live action, public and corporate entertainment. In this guide we will give a brief explanation to some of these kinds.
Reggae/Dancehall need to be entertained and a few occasions the entertainer or the amusement service needs to find a balance between mental and physical activities. Clowns, puppets, pantomimes and cartoons have a tendency to appeal to kids, though mature may find it fun too.
Adult Entertainment
Adult Entertainment many times is related to the sex industry, yet this kind of entertainment can’t be related only with the sex industry and its branches. Adult Entertainment entails things like music festivals, live sports, opera and a hand full of different activities that children may not find so appealing.
Live Entertainment
This form of entertainment is broadened to all ages since there are a variety of activities that can tagged as live entertainment. For example music concerts, live TV shows, live sports, theaters and any other activity that you could think of this is aimed to entertain people.
Public Entertainment
Nowadays probably one of the forms of entertainment which have grown the most, thanks to the financial downturn. When you walk across any major city around Europe you will observe a wide selection of people entertainers working for almost any amount of money the people decides to give them. There are public entertainers of a variety of mimes to Peruvian Flute bands all working together with the uncertainty of how much money they will make, that is the reason why they have a tendency to be more prevalent in major cities where there are more tourists.
